COOPERATIVE CONFORMATION COALITION

The Cooperative Conformation Coalition is made of a group of professional dog trainers, breeders and owner handlers who are committed to making dog shows positive for people who choose to train and handle their dogs with positive reinforcement methods.

What we do is coordinate within our group to allow people to hook up with our coordinators and other members so that they have support system at shows with likeminded ideas.

Our coordinators are people who use and promote the use of positive reinforcement training and want to offer both newcomers and long timers the ability to make friends who train and handle in the same way that they do regardless of breed.

We believe that friendships and support outside of our own breeds can be an amazing way to create community, find support and develop new friendships. We also know that when you are a positive reinforcement trainer not supported by your peers it can feel lonely and isolating. The plain fact is, we got sick of people telling us they were going to get out of showing because it wasn’t fun. We want people to go to dog shows and have fun, enjoy their dogs and have a good experience.
